The Client

A UK wide construction and services company, our client has numerous regional offices capable of providing local support for its clients. They have a current vacancy for an Electrical Project Engineer to join its team working on a high value major project in the Northamptonshire area. 

The Role and its Responsibilities

You must display proficiency and confidence in the following areas:

• Support of all technical aspects of the electrical installation and maintenance
• Interpretation and adaptation of designs
• Ensuring a good working relationship alongside the Mechanical Project Engineer 
• Reporting to the Project Manager of works and recording of works
• Ensuring that all work is carried out in a safe manner and as detailed in contracts 
• Regular attendance of meetings with the client 
• Keep the ongoing project to cost and time allocation and understand the budget of the project at any given time
• Management of sub-contractors 

The Individual

Our client requires an experienced candidate for this role and a suitable applicant will be up to date with industry initiatives and technologies. You will be an  effective communicator, both written and verbal and be computer literate.

Skills and Qualifications

• Relevant industry qualifications
• CSCS card
• Working at Height/IPAF/PASMA certification
• PAT testing experience
