The Client

Our client, a forward thinking family run M&E business, has recently expanded their business into the North-West and are looking for an Electrical Estimator to join their team. They work on large scale commercial and industrial projects including hospitals, prisons and schools and can offer ongoing training and progression for the right candidate. With this role there will also be the opportunity to be trained towards a Project Engineer career path.

The Role and its Responsibilities

• Production of detailed and accurate electrical tenders on traditional D&B projects. 
• Responsible for tenders from initial production to finalisation.
• Providing of monthly reports.
• Preparation of time frame schedules, cost materials and labour to ensure projects can be delivered within budget and on time.
• Good knowledge of ‌industry including labour, materials, suppliers etc. 

The Individual

Applicants must be professional, enthusiastic, confident, and persuasive! You must be a good team player, a good eye for details and an excellent supply chain knowledge. 

Skills and Qualifications 

• HNC/HND or equivalent Building Services Qualification is necessary.
• IT literate with ‘Estimation’ software.
• Good understanding of up to date Building Regulations would be preferable.
• Excellent commercial acumen

Salary and Package

£35-42k per annum. 25 days holidays and a profit share of business
