The Client
We are currently recruiting for a Document Administrator on behalf of a major manufacturing engineering company who have been established for over 100 years. The company have many clients in a variety of industry sectors both in the UK and globally.
The role and its responsibilities

Logging all project contract documentation

Following up on outstanding documentation for the Project Teams and Clients

Maintaining the Supplier Document Schedule, to include submittal history, current status and date schedules

Ensuring all documents are tracked as necessary, controlling and maintaining project document registers.

Maintaining an up to date and accurate record of drawings, COCs, FTCs, Maintenance data etc., through a database and / or spread sheets.

Generating, maintaining and updating Project Certificate Data Books, Dispatch Dossiers and O&M Manuals(or similar) and that they are compiled in line with contractual requirement Managing incoming and outgoing submissions.

Carry out general QS and Engineering administrative work along with any other reasonable task.

Liaise with vendors and company employees as necessary to obtain appropriate documentation / information.

Any other ad hoc duties as may be required and as are commensurate with the grade of the post.
The Individual
Our client is looking for a Document Administrator with at least 2 years experience in a similar role. You will be well organised and has excellent attention to detail. You will be a team player and be able to work with the team and forge relationships with external clients and the companies network.

The Individual
Fully experienced and skilled in the role, preferably with a minimum of 2 years' experience a suitable candidate must have good IT knowledge, be well organised with good attention to detail and able to establish and maintain working relationships with the team and supply chain.
Salary and package
£16,000 £22,000 per annum with company package.
