The client

Our construction building services client has a temp 12 month role for an experienced Project QS. They work throughout a varied range of projects, including education, industrial sectors and utilities.

The role and its responsibilities:

·         Valuation of works and dealing with variations
·         Commercial and contractual risks
·         Working to timescales
·         Overall management of commercial team
·         Budget and cost controlling
·         Invoice and payment of customers and suppliers
·         Report compilation for company and client
·         Client relations
·         Risk Management

The Individual

The client is looking for an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor ,who has excellent verbal and written communication skills. You must be organised and be able to prioritise workloads and have a strong track record of delivering similar type projects to those mentioned above.  

Skills and qualifications

Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)
