The Client

Designing and installing integrated building systems, our client offers a full energy management service to their customers. Projects throughout the UK have included education, hospital and leisure facilities, and they are looking for an M&E Commissioning Manager to join their North-West based team. The role is a senior position and you will  be providing the link between the site and projects teams with the job being split between a 60/40 ratio of being site and office based. 
   
The Role and its Responsibilities

• Providing the link between the site and office teams
• Review of design drawings to produce commission-ability reports
• Client liaison
• Labour management
• Attending monthly meetings and produce reports at monthly meetings
• Assessment of the projects and contracts before outset of projects
• Development of commissioning plans for future projects
• Working closely with engineering teams on site to ensure productivity
• Regular site visits
• Issue commissioning plans to H&S manager, engineers and mangement teams
• Co-ordinate project changes
• Project completion and handover with full document and report production
• Review of commissioning documentation and software before storing
• Training and development of individual staff 
• Action changes to equipment
• Hiring of specialist equipment 
• Manage tool log
• Check validation of test/calibration certificates
• Review processes for improvement, new technologies
• Effective communication of plans to commissioning teams on site

The Individual

Our client is looking for an individual who can make this role their own and who has aspirations to progress to Director level. As client liaison will be an important part of the role, applicants should be effective communicators at all levels.

Skills and Qualifications

• Formal qualification in a relevant engineering qualification
• Previous experience in a similar role

Salary and Package
