The Client

With offices throughout the UK, our client have an excellent portfolio of projects within the building services sector. They have a postion available for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team at their York Office and ideally are looking for a candidate with 2 years' experience in a similar role. 

The Role and its Responsibilities

• Commercial assistance to the Quantity Surveyors
• Preparation of plant, equipment and sub-contractor enquiries
• Selection of suitable supply chain partners
• Preparation and submittal of monthly and final accounts
• Preparation of contract notices
• Commercial report production
• Reviewing of forecasts and completion of accounts
• Variation submittal

The Individual

Our client is looking for an applicant who is keen to learn and progress within the role and along with having excellent numeracy skills, you must also be a confident communicator.  

Skills and Qualifications

• Relevant degree qualification and on the job experience
• IT literate
• Experience at working on relevant software packages
• NEC contract working knowledge

Salary and Package

£30-35K per annum plus pension, healthcare.
