The Client

Our client deliver low carbon energy solutions within varying sectors throughout the UK and they specialise in providing centralised solutions for their clients. Due to extensive growth within their market field they require an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team at their Blackburn office.

The Role and its Responsibilities

As Assistant Quantity Surveyor you will be required to provide commercial assistance to the company QS's throughout the UK and will have the following assisting responsibilities:

• Preparation of plant, equipment and sub-contractor enquiries
• Selection of suitable supply chain partners
• Preparation and submittal of monthly and final accounts
• Preparation of contract notices
• Commercial report production
• Reviewing of forecasts and completion of accounts
• Variation submittal

The Individual

Ideally you will have 2 years experience in a similar role and be keen to learn and progress within the position. Our client is looking for a creative individual with excellent communication skills. 

Skills and Qualifications

• Appropriate industry qualification 
• IT literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
