They currently require an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work within the Birmingham area.

The Role and its Responsibilities

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for our client you will be reporting to the Senior Surveyor and be responsible for supporting the Managers to ensure successful end projects. You will be proficient in the following areas:

• Technical acumen
• Commercial fields, cost management
• Cost forecasting
• Contractor knowledge
• Final project accounts
• Payments throughout and at end of project lifespans
• Contracts

 
The Individual

The successful candidate will have excellent time management skills and be able to prioritise tasks accordingly. You will be experienced in the MEP field and provide work with an excellent attention to detail.

Skills and Qualifications

MRICS or working towards chartership
Degree qualified in quantity surveying or other relevant business discipline.

Salary and Package

£25-£30K dependant on experience
