Our client is an award-winning market leader in engineering services and a major M&E contractor who offer its clients’ a full range of services from design to completion. Specialising in data centres they have the specialist knowledge to be a leading force in this sector. Due to their current expansion, they have an opportunity for a Mechanical Supervisor to work with the Leeds area on mixed use development projects.

The role and its responsibilities

In the role of Mechanical Supervisor, you must be able to display experience in the following areas:

• Scheduling and assigning of works
• Providing technical support to testing operatives
• Inspections of installations and site
• Checking and final sign off of installations
• Organizing site teams
• Working to H&S regulatory standards
• Attending meetings on projects
• Management of company workforce and sub-contractors

The role needs confident applicant who can work in a pressurised environment, a team player and a leader! You must be organised and motivated and be able to encourage productivity to ensure a high finish on projects.

Skills and Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering qualifications
• SSSTS/SMSTS
• Knowledge of current H & S legislation 

Salary and package

£40-43K plus overtime
