About our client

Our client is leading independent engineering and services businesses in the UK with a high value turnover and several thousand employees. They currently have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Electrical Engineer to join their team on a high value project working on the Manchester T2 renovation. In this role you will be providing support to the Electrical Site Engineer who is running the electrical side of the project and assisting with the site works in general.

Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:

Assisting the Electrical Site Engineer to fulfil the renovation works
Supporting your line manager with the overall site management
Organising the contractors and sub-contractors on site
Providing advice and input into the electrical installations
Ensuring H&S parameters are being adhered to
Reviewing the scope of works
Assisting with project so that maximum efficiency is met to thus ensure profit margins are maximised
Understanding the commercial objectives within your control
Maintain positive and open channels of communication
