The Client

Mech Electrics are currently looking to secure a Mechanical Site Manager for our client who are a leading innovator in the field of green energy solutions. They work on many high profile projects throughout the UK and this role will see you working on a heat pump package on a hospital project in the Gloucester area with an MEP works value of £2.5M.

The Role and its Responsibilities

As Mechanical Site Manager you will be responsible for the following:

• Overseeing the management of programme and mechanical site works
• Management of teams including sub-contractors
• Support of commissioning teams
• Production of accurate project reports
• Reviewing and maintaining Safe Systemms of Work, RAMS on site
• Ensure procedures adhered to with standards, guidelines and specifications
• Maintainance of Inspection and Test Plans
• Management and updating of programme of works
• Ensuring compliance with contract specification clauses

The Individual

The client is looking for an individual who is able to manage site teams effectively and who can ensure a high standard of quality is adhered to. You should be an excellent motivator and team leader be able to represent the company well on site. Solid working relationships with all departments of the project team must be maintained! 

Skills and Qualifications

• Relevant mechanical qualification
• SMSTS / SSSTS card
• SC clearance advantageous

Salary and Package

Offering up to £52K for a Mechanical Site Manager who is interested or experienced in the green energy sector, this package also includes excellent company benefits.
