Mech Electrics are currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor for our client, a Tier 1 M&E contractor. They are recruiting for their commercial team based in the North West and have many exciting projects in the pipeline!

The Role and its Responsibilities

In the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor you should be proficient in the following areas:

• Ensuring that H&S is kept as a priority throughout projects
• Reviewing contract T&C's 
• Risk mitigation
• Ensuring contract compliance
• Liaising with project teams
• Cash flow and revenue forecasting and monitoring
• Procurement and management of sub-contractors
• Providing accurate reports and maintain these 
• Dispute resolutions if required
• Mentoring of the Quantity Surveyors and Assistant Surveyors

The Individual

The client is looking for a confident Senior Quantity Surveyor who can maintain communicative working relationships as you will work with Project teams and the Commercial Manager to settle final accounts and sign off. You must display attention to detail in your work, be self-motivated and an excellent team leader. 

Skills and Qualifications

• Relevant industry degree/BSc or equivalent 
• IT skills
• Experience in a similar role
• Previous portfolio of working on high value, new build projects 

Salary and Package

£60-65K plus excellent company benefits including a pension, private healthcare and car/allowance.
