The Client

Our client is looking for a Junior Quantity Surveyor for an office based role in the Manchester Airport area. They are a successful provider of specialist controlled environments and cleanrooms and are looking to expand their commercial team with a motivated Junior QS who is keen to grow their career. 
 
The Role and its Responsibilities

• Review of order documentation 
• Assist with the production of cost plans
• Liaise with estimating department 
• Ensure all aspects of the project have been accounted for
• Work on monthly project costs 
• Prepare and produce sub contractors order documentation
• Work with the project team to ensure project is running to time and cost
• Record any variations and additions and submit to the client in a timely fashion
• Manage monthly project cost reports for monthly project meetings on site, including monthly valuations
• Assist with the management of specialist Sub-contractors and negotiate their Final Accounts

The Individual

You should display strong commercial acumen a good attention to detail with your work. You must be abke to work to deadlines in a sometimes pressurd environment.

Skills and Qualifications

• Degree qualified or equivalent
• Some experience in an assistant / Junior QS 
• Excellent numeracy and IT skills

£37-44K plus company benefits
