We are recruiting for a Mechanical Project Manager to join a high value project in the Cumbria region. The client is a long standing contractor offering bespoke packages for M&E works. They provide services from inception to the aftercare of building services projects and have secured works for the many years and are looking for a candidate with experience in HVAC building services,

The Role and its Responsibilities

• Full responsibility for the Mechanical works 
• Management of projects from procurement to final commissioning and handover stage
• Working alongside the commercial teams
• Management of sub-contractors
• Cost scheduling
• Engineering programming 
• Design and compliance
• Competent management of large teams
• Working to time and budget constraints
• The overseeing of sub-contractors, their working standards and compliance
• Production of costings, billings and progress reports
• Health and Safety compliance
• Commercial awareness

The Individual

A suitable candidate must display a confident manner, good communication and negotiation skills and be able to maintain high standards of work. You should be a motivational leader who is able to manage the mechanical team effectively. 

Skills and Qualifications

• HNC qualification or equivalent 
• IT proficient
• HVAC background
• NEC Contract experience
• Security clearance process will be required

Salary and Package

The company is offering a package of up to £65K for this role and this will include company benefits, car / allowance, pension etc.
