The Client

Currently recruiting for a Mechanical Project Engineer, our client has a long term project ongoing in the Cumbria area and are looking for a candidate for this staff role. The company provide M&E works and oversee projects from inception to aftercare for their long standing clients and the Mechanical Project Engineer role will be office based with site visits.   

The Role and its Responsibilities

• Support of all technical aspects of the mechanical installation
• Interpretation and adaptation of designs
• Ensure a good working relationship alongside the electrical project engineer 
• Reporting to the Project Manager on works
• Ensurance that all work is carried out in a safe manner and as laid out in contracts 
• Regular attendance of meetings with the client 
• Keep the ongoing project to cost and time allocation and understand the budget of the project at any given time
• Management of the sub-contractors 

The Individual

This role needs a confident individual who can work in a sometimes-pressurised environment on a high value project. The company require a team player and leader for this role. 

Skills and Qualifications

• HNC/D level qualification in Building Services Engineering or equivalent
• Security clearance will need to be obtained for this role
• Working knowledge of the role on a high value project
• CSCS card

Salary and Package

£53-57K plus company package including car / allowance
