One of the UK's leading construction companies, our client is recruiting for a fully experienced Mechanical Engineer. The company provide innovative, individually tailored packages for their clients and specialise in energy efficient schemes, drawing on the technical expertise of the global arm of the company.
The Role and its Responsibilities
The role will require a Mechanically biased Project Engineer who can fill the jobs requirements as listed below:
- Interpretation of Mechanical designs along with the technical ability to create and adapt this information.
- Successful record of co-ordination, delivery, and handover of projects.
- Management of budget and timeframes of works.
- Overseeing of Health and Safety throughout works.
- Work successfully alongside the Electrical Project Engineer and produce regular progress reports for the Project Manager
- Attend meetings as required.
- Management of sub-contractors, suppliers and materials and confident support of site teams.
- Ability to build relationships at all levels on major projects
The right person
- The applicant must be a confident individual who can work well as part of a team. Communication is key and you must be able to motivate and manage your team effectively.
- You will be a skilful negotiator ensuring contracts are completed safely, on schedule and to the clients’ satisfaction.
Skills and qualifications
- Educated to HNC level in Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
- Previous experience in the role of Mechanical Project Engineer
Salary and package
Excellent salary ranging between £45-48 K per annum and including benefits
