Our client are a UK wide Tier 1 contractor and they have a new vacancy for a Commercial Manager to join their North West team. You will be providing support on various MEP Building Services within the area and the company is able to provide career progression for a self-motivated individual. 

The Role and its Responsibilities

• Running projects from pre-construction to completion
• Assess project risks and opportunity
• Mitigation management
• Negotiation on contracts, valuation and final accounts
• Forecasting costs and valuations
• Working on contracts and accounts
• Reviewing and drafting of contracts
• Vetting tenders and contracts for sub-contractors
• Project purchasing and cost budgets
• Ensure that safety is paramount on projects
• Management of commercial team 
• Record generation and maintenance
• Ensure payments are timely

The Individual

The company is looking for an experienced candidate who has strong communication skills and who is enthusiastic and career driven. A suitable candidate must have excellent commercial and negotiation skills and come from an MEP management background. 

Skills and Qualifications

• Industry relevant degree qualification, or equivalent.
• RICS accredited or willing to work towards
• Experienced at managing a commercial team

Salary and Package

£75-85K dependant on experience of the candidate and this will include car/allowance and excellent company contributed pension.
