We are recruiting on behalf of a National Building Services contractor who are due to site in late January to construct a multimillion pound construction project in Rugby.They require a Document Controller who can also look after the engineering administration and be based on the site for the next 14 months.

You will have a working history of document control, providing full support to the engineering team that all current drawings, specs and other relevant documents are filed, maintained and issued when required. You will manage the electronic correspondence, document storage transmittal systems and procedures.

You will be used to the role of DC, and be at the centre of the engineering team, being able to discuss the documentation, it’s whereabouts and a real understanding of the whole site documentation. You will support the maintenance of assumptions log, issues log and change log.

Ideally you will also be able to work with the engineers and assist with their administration, helping with documentation collation, gathering information and generally being on hand for any administrative functions. This is an ideal addition to the required skill sets, if there is no real previous experience of being an administrative support, if you are happy with the idea to add to your current skill sets, the client is happy to assist with any additional training required.
