Mech Electrics are recruiting for a Mechanical Project Lead for our M&E contractor client who are currently working on a major M&E scheme in the York area (not to be confused with the current major project within the commutable area of Sunderland!) 

The Role and its Responsibilities

• Overall leadership of Mechanical side of project
• Working alongside Electrical counterpart
• Production of effective tenders 
• Preparation of works
• Interpreting clients needs and requirements
• Commercial knowledge
• Health and Safety adherence
• Knowledge of company and industry legislations
• Evaluation of project changes and implementation of new 
• Attendance and leading of project meetings
• Report production
• Ensure budget and time constraints are met
• Mentoring of staff

The Individual

For the role of Mechanical Project Lead, we are looking for candidates who are experienced at having the responsibility of managing the mechanical part of projects. As you will be at times leading review meetings, you should have excellent communication skills and be organised and up to speed with industry and company legislations and procedures.
 

Skills and Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent industry relevant qualification
• Technical expertise
• Experienced in a lead role 

Salary and Package

Our client is looking to offer a favourable remuneration package of up to £70K plus company benefits and car/allowance, along with excellent career prospects due to their ongoing major project works.
