The Client
Our client is a long-established manufacturing engineering company who are at the forefront of their industry sector. They have many blue-chip clients spanning a diverse range of disciplines including nuclear, off-shore, civil engineering, defence, commercial etc.
The role and its responsibilities
- Ensuring the project meets the requirements of client
- Working to time and budget constraints
- Produce reports or documentation for the client when required
- Quality assurance of works
- Support management, providing changes to works to ensure successful completion
- Risk assessment
- Sub-contractor management
- Management and support of teams
The Individual
Our client is interested in reviewing CV’s from applicants with excellent problem solving, planning and organisational skills. You must be able to delegate effectively to keep the project running as smoothly as possible and have an eye for detail to ensure the quality of the works. Your records and documents must be organised effectively, and you must be able to communicate confidently with all departments and clients. The role will require both national and international travel and so a full UK drivers license is essential as is the need for a flexible candidate!

Qualification
Degree in Mechanical and Production Biased Engineering discipline
Knowledge of a second language
Advanced Microsoft user to include Project and Excel software

Our client will look favourably on NEC Option 3 contract experience and an understanding of lean manufacturing
Salary and package
£30,000 – £33,000 plus benefits
