The Client 

We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Supervisor to work on an 18 month contract in Cumbria. Our client are a UK wide construction and regeneration group who work on major projects within infrastructure, D&B, construction and refurbishment. 

The Role and its Responsibilities

• Support the commissioning team
• Produce accurate reports on progress
• RAMS on site
• Ensure that works are up to relevant standards and specifications
• Compliance to Contract Specification clauses
• Maintenance of Inspection and Test Plans
• Able to manage programme of works around otheer site teams
• Fully conversant with Installation and testing of Process Gas Piped Systems – Compressed Air / Welding Gases 
• Installation and teating of ventilation ductwork systems
• Working knowledge of Local Extract Ventilation Systems and A/C systems
• Ability to identify and rectify poor install practices 
• Work to Datum's and to scaled drawings

The Individual

The client is looking for candidates who have experience at working on large infrastructure projects as part of a large, multi-disciplinary team. You must be able to ensure the works are carried out to a high standard and be able to identify and rectify poor installation works. 

Skills and Qualifications

• Worked with snagging software – SnagR
• SC clearance advantageous 
• Ability to site manage multiple teams
• Current SMSTS/SSSTS
• IPAF card preferable
• Not afraid of heights!

Salary and Package

£275-300 per day
