The Client 

Our client is a well established and well regarded provider of commercial staff to large blue chip companies throughout the UK. They are currently looking for an experienced Quantity Survey who has worked on projects within the building services field for a 2 year contract postion. This role will initially be based in Basingtoke and then will move to Harlow so a candidate situated between these areas would be ideal. 

The Role and its Responsibilites

• Working  on pre-construction tenders for Tier 1 M&E contactors
• Pricing up scope of works
• Contract negotiations
• Submissions
• Adherance to company procedures
• Ability to maximise profitablity on projects
• Analysis of tender submissions
• Attend project reviews
• Invoicing payments
• Commercial risk register

The Individual

In the role you will have to communicate effectively with co-workers and management staff and be able to work well as part of a team. We are looking for candidates who are experienced in the role and have exceptional numeracy and financial skills and the ability to handle difficult accounts.

Skills and Qualifications

• Industry degree qualification
• IT literate
• NEC contract knowledge
• Relevant software package experience
