The Client

Recognised as one of the leading M&E companies in the UK, our client specialises in the design and installation of building services and infrastructure solutions. They cover all aspects of M&E and are fully experienced in providing all aspects of building services engineering, our client. They are currently recruiting for an Electrical Project Engineer to join their operational team to work on an extensive project  in the Oxford area.

The Role and its Responsibilities

• Ordering and managing the install of all associated works and ensuring the cost of the job is met 
• Support all technical aspects of the electrical installation
• Interpret and adapt designs
• Work compatably alongside a Mechanical Project Engineer 
• Reporting to the Project Manager
• Ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner and as in contracts 
• Regularly attend meetings with the client and keep your PM updated 
• Keep the ongoing project to cost and time allocation and understand the budget of the project at any given time
• Management of sub-contractors 
• Commercial awareness within the role
• Knowledge of industry legislation
• Health and Safety knowledge up to date
• Experience with supply chain and contacts

The Individual

The client is looking for a candidate from a building services background who has demonstrable experience within a similar role.

Skills and Qualifications

• HNC/HND in Building Services Engineering, or equivalent
• Role experience on a wide range of projects
• Several years' experience in a Project Engineer role
• CSCS card

Salary and Package

Salary up to £55K plus car/allowance and company benefits.
