Mech Electrics are recruiting for a Graduate/Undergraduate Quantity Surveyor to join our clients' London office and the company we are recruiting on behalf of provide professional commercial staff to well known, blue chip companies across the UK's built environment. Full support will be given to help the candidate integrate successfully with the business at the start of their career and funding can be provided for a successful undergraduate applicant. 

The Role and its Responsibilities

Working to timescales and budget constraints
Assisting the commercial management team to provide quality projects 
Assisting with the production of accurate reports
Tender analysing 
Procurement of sub-contractors
Financial planning
Preparation of estimates and contract variations

The Individual

The company are looking for an applicant who has great communication skills and who can prioritise their workload effectively. You must be highly organised with the ability to multi task!

Skills and Qualifications

• Computer literate
• Degree qualified or on track for industry qualification

Salary and Package

The role will offer a salary of up to £25K and provide an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to begin their career with a well respected industry leader who can offer mentoring and on the job experience.
