The Client

Specialising in the field of sustainable energy solutions our client is currently committed to an exciting project in the Westminster area of London. These works are due to be completed in March 2022 and they are looking to secure a Mechanical Site Manager to work on this until completion. They are happy to recruit a North-West based candidate who is open to working away and will pay for accommodation for the duration. 

The Role and its Responsiblities

• Overseeing and managing the installation if heat pumps
• Some renovation of existing systems
• Ensuring careful consideration to environments due to areas being listed
• Overall management of the site
• Managing time and budgets of works
• Inspections of installations and site
• Checking and final sign off of installations 
• Organizing of site teams and toolbox talks
• Recording works for reports
• Accident monitoring and documenting and managing risk assessments
• Ensuring adherence of H&S regulatory standards 
• Attending meetings on projects
• Management of sub-contractors 
• Improving services to ensure effective results for the project
• Overseeing site resources and sub-contractors to maximise project results 

The Individual

These works will be run at a fast pace with no margin for errors so this will be a high pressured role! You will be fully experienced in a Site Manager role, ensuring that you can fulfill the role to the best of your abilities. 

Skills and Qualifications 

• Mechanically qualified
• SSSTS/SMTS
• Up to date knowledge of H&S legislations
• Literate and IT skilled

Salary and Package

The role has a salary of up to £50K along with theaccomodation being fully paid for North-West based applicants.
