The Client

Our client is looking for an Electrical Site Manager for a years' project due to start April 2021 in the Durham area. This role is for a prison site so applicants should be able to obtain the necessary clearance. The company provides individually designed security systems for many high profile companies and institutes thoughout the UK and candidates with experience in an electrical security role will be preferred.

The Role and its Responsibilities

• Ability to understand drawings and schematics and translate to works
• Organisation of team on site
• Installation and working knowledge of electrical security equipment
• Overseeing sub-contractors
• Tool box talks
• Monitoring site costs
• Prepare materials and plant requisitions
• Risk assessments
• Up to date knowledge of current legislations
• Excellent H&S practices

The Individual

For the Site Managers role our client is looking for a candidate experienced at working within the electrical security field. You must be confident to lead the onsite team of company and sub-contractor workers and be able to provide information on the project progress to colleagues. 

Skills and Qualifications

• Relevant industry qualification
• 3 years' experience in a similar role
• IT skills
• Good communication skills

Salary and Package

£250.00 per day
