Our client is a progressive, forward thinking company who provide low carbon energy solutions within wide and varied sectors throughout the UK. They design, install, operate and maintain their environmentally sound energy projects for customers, and are a thriving and well respected company within their field. They are currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in the North-West and are offering a fantastic renumeration package for the right candidate.

The Role and its Responsibilities

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be experienced in the following areas:

• Review of tenders to ensure a suitable supply chain partner is secured
• Costings- from tender to final bid
• Preparation and actioning of contract documents, including sub-contractors 
• Organizing payments and invoices for company and sub-contractors
• Producing monthly reports for progress meetings
• Supporting the commercial team
• Minimizing commercial risks and resolving if necessary
• Variation management to ensure favourable financial outcome

Recruiting on a regular basis for our client we are keen to secure the right candidate for this role and would like to hear from applicants who have a professional interest within the field of low carbon energy solutions. We are looking for an individual who also has excellent communication and negotiating skills and has an eye for detail with their numeration works.

Skills and Qualifications

• Degree Qualified Quantity Surveyor
• Experienced in Building Services role and a similar role
• IT literate

Salary and Package

For the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor, our client is offering a negotiable salary of £50-60K and can provide excellent scope for career progression within the company. There is also a favourable car allowance and company package.
