As a well respected company in the Building Services industry, our client has a full order book of present and future projects throughout the UK. They have a vacancy in their commercial department for a Quantity Surveyor and this would be a great opportunity to join this busy company.

The Role and it Responsibilities

As part of the Commercial Team you will be responsible for:

• The preparation of contracts
• Material costings
• The evaluation of costs and advising on alternative proposals
• Analysing completed work and arranging payment to contractors
• Site visits, assessments and projections for future work
• The preparation of bills of quantities
• Assisting with sub-contract accounts
• Providing reports (Progress and Contract) for Senior Management.

The Individual

We are interested in reviewing CV's from candidates who can demonstrable experience within a similar role. You will need to have a positive, proactive attitude and be able to work well alongside colleagues and the client team. Good negotiation, reporting and communication skills will be beneficial to making a success of this role.
