The Client

Our client,  who are UK wide construction and services company, have a current vacancy for a Mechanical Engineer to work on a high value leisure and retail project in London which is starting in May this year. 

The Role and its Responsibilities

As an experienced Mechanical Engineer you must display proficiency and confidence in the following areas:

• Support of all technical aspects of the mechanical installation
• Interpretation and adaptation of mechanical designs
• Ensure a good working relationship alongside the electrical project engineer 
• Reporting to the Project Manager of works
• Ensurance that all work is carried out in a safe manner and as in contracts 
• Regular attendance of meetings with the client 
• Keep the ongoing project to cost and time allocation and understand the budget of the project at any given time
• Management of sub-contractors 
• Interpretation of the mechanical designs along with the technical ability to adapt this information.
• Successful record of co-ordination, delivery, and handover of projects.
• Management of budget and timeframes of works.

The Individual

An excellent team worker and leader you must be able to run a high value, sometimes pressured project. You will have a good understanding of your industry and knowledge of sub-contractors, equipment etc.

Skills and Qualifications

Industry recognised qualification and up to date with H&S legislations and requirements

Salary and Package

£50-60K plus excellent company benefits.
