One of the leading M&E contractors in the UK, our client covers all areas within the M&E field, from design to installation. They excel at providing cost effective solutions for projects and have an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Project Engineer to work between Newcastle and York bases.

The Role and its Responsibilities

Working under guidance from the Project Manager you must successfully deliver in the following areas:

• Ensuring that works are completed on time, within budget and to agreed standards
• Identification of risks 
• Putting in place mitigation measures
• Management of sub-contractors and team performance 
• Supporting the PM
• Attending design meetings 
• Final handover

The Individual

The company are looking to offer the position to a candidate who is ambitious and able to work on their own initiative. You will be able to communicate well, be a good team player and willing to travel.
