The Client

Our client, a process automations company, are seeking a Lead Automation Engineer to join their team, working closely with the Regional Manager to grow the business. For the right candidate, this initial position of Lead Automation Engineer will eventually progress to the role of Department Manager, so there really is room for personal growth and expansion within the business.

The Role and its Responsiblities

• Design of automation solutions for the process and manufacturing industry, typically from P&ID or Process Control Narratives (PCN)
• Configuration, programming, testing and commissioning of process control systems/automation systems (DCS/PLC/SCADA/MES/Robotics/Safety)
• Preparation of technical documentation, typically FEED/SDS/FDS/O&M Manuals
• Ability to work directly and in partnership with our clients
• Grow and lead the UK technical engineering team

Salary and Package
