The Client

Our client, a UK wide construction and services company, have a current vacancy for a Mechanical Project Engineer to work on a healthcare project in the Liverpool area. This project will have a mechanical value of £6m and experience with medical gases would be preferable.

The Role and its Responsibilities

As a competant Mechanical Project Engineer you will:

• Support the technical aspects of the mechanical installation
• Interpret and adapt designs
• Ensure a good working relationship alongside the electrical project engineer 
• Report on the works to the Project Manager 
• Ensure that all work is carried out in a safe manner and as in the contracts 
• Regularly attend meetings with the client 
• Keep the ongoing project to cost and within the time allocations 
• Understand the budget of the project at any given time
• Manage sub-contractors

The Individual

You must be up to date with a H&S legislations and be able to run a high value, sometimes pressured project. Communication and liaison skills will be necessary to ensure the success of the project 

Skills and Qualifications

HNC/HND qualified

Salary and Package

£47-50K salary plus benefits depending on experience brought to the role
