A UK wide construction and services company our client has numerous regional offices capable of providing local support for its clients and have a current vacancy for a Mechanical Site Engineer. Working on both private and public sector projects they have an extensive variety of high quality and cost-effective projects under their belt and are flexible with initial design ideas working with their clients to ensure a mutually beneficial project completion.

The Role and it Responsibilities

Our client requires an experienced Mechanical Site Engineer to work as part of the site team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing plans and drawings for issuing to site
• To ensure work is carried out to Health and Safety guidelines
• Recording of works and materials used
• Ensuring project runs to plan with relevance to time, budget and quality
• Providing the engineering support for technical teams
• Recording records for site deliveries 
• Ensuring quality is maintained throughout the works to ensure good final outcome for works

The Individual

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Site Manager who is within a one-hour commute of the site in Northampton and an individual who is self-motivated and can prioritise works. You must have good communication skills and be able to liaise with co-workers effectively.  

Skills and Qualifications

• Qualified to HNC, BTEC, NVQ 4 or equivalent and prepared to travel throughout the UK when necessary. 
• Quality Management System familiarisation
